On the Wii there is a channel called Everyone Votes. There are all kinds of polls on there. Questions that get you thinking. Like would you rather see or hear if you had to choose one. I chose hearing. I can't see without my glasses at all, and while I hate not being able to see anything outside of 3 inches from my face, I could never give up being able to hear music or my kids' voices.
The other day I answered a poll with this question: What do you like more about your favorite song; lyrics or music?
I answered the music. Without the music, lyrics are just a poem. And while there are beautiful lyrics out there, music is just so full of emotion. Not all songs are like that. I mean, listening to the ABC song doesn't give me chills or anything. But my favorite song is Moon River. I could hum it all day long. It's beautiful with or without the lyrics. And it's simple. Anyone can sing it.
Another one of my favorites is This Day by Point of Grace. The music is GORGEOUS!!! The way it swells and the harmonies. AHH! And the lyrics are amazing too....
